This document is signed by General Gerard, who became a Marshal of France during the reign of King Louis-Philippe. It`s the General Gerard who served under Grouchy at the battle of Waterloo. He was also the Commander of the "Garde Nationale" during the time of the transfer of Napoleons remains to Paris and funeral at Dec, 15th. 1840. The document is about the preperations of the funeral ceremonies, and a list of the parcipating units, their marching order and dispositions, the route they have to take. The date on the document is Dec, 8th 1840.
